Description:  

This brew is dry hopped with Citra hops from our friends in Yakima at Hop Union.  The kettle additions of Citra hops, brings this brew in at a whopping 75 IBUs and the hops flavors are much more pronounced with citrusy hints of pineapple, orange etc.  This version is also loaded with malt flavors with plenty of crystal malt, medium to full bodied and deep copper colored.

This is a really great offering from the Mad Fox Brewing Company. The flavors are complex and have a flavor impact throughout the drinking experience. The hops are evident but not so heavy that they overpower the beer. Nice! (8/12/11)

Chief Bottle Washer
 
This beer pours a dark amber color with a light head. It comes through with a good amount of malt flavor, to the point its slightly sweet. The hops bitterness is pretty pronounced, but not quite up there with Imperial IPAs. Still, quite a hoppy standard IPA.

I liked this brew. Nice dark caramel color. Mild hop flavor well balanced. A little malty sweetness at the end. Tasted 8/12/2011
